Walking!!

Well the last few weeks have been very busy. We went to the Wisconsin Dells for 5 days and had a blast. Logan absolutely loved the water (no fear of it), the deer, and he got to pet a giraffe. It was nice to enjoy 10 days off with my little guy! In 5 days he will be 1! It's hard to believe that a year has gone by. It has been a very enjoyable year, one that I will never forget. I'm just sitting here at work and can't even begin to think of life with Logan..I wonder what we did before him (it must have been BORING!). Logan is now in daycare and loving it. He stated last Monday and had already learned so many new things!!

Logan is such a big boy!

He has 8 teeth
He doesn't get a bottle anymore! He just gets a sippy cup
He is walking ALL OVER and is learning to run
He says Momma, Dadda, Dog, Ball
He gives lots of hugs and kisses
He blows kisses
He loves to read
He is on tablefood (no more baby food)
He gets whole milk and breast milk (since I still have a freezer full)

and best of all

HE IS THE BEST LITTLE BOY I COULD ASK FOR AND I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!!

Growing up so fast!

Play Dates!!

Liz and Bianca came from Georgia to visit. We were so excited to see them! Michele had us over for dinner and for the kids to play!! How we miss Liz and Bianca!

It's been awhile!!

Wow! I just realized its almost been a month since I've updated this. Logan is getting so big SO fast! He is getting to be such a big boy! We had a good Easter and enjoyed spending time with our families. Logan didn't feel so good for easter. He had a ear infection (this time in his left ear) and on Sat. night woke up wheezing and coughing-well needless to say it was croup. But today he is feeling a little bit better! Also, Logan experience his first trip to the Glen Oak Zoo on Good Friday! We had so much fun!
Things he can do:
1. Army crawl (all over the place)
2. Say "mama"
3. Wave bye-bye
4. Clap (still working on this)

Ready for spring

The last few days have been so NICE out! Since we were getting a little cabin fever we broke out the stroller and took a walk around the big town of Kickapoo and Logan loved it. We are looking forward to the weather getting nicer so we can play outside and of course go garage saleing for some outside toys!

Busy

This weekend has been really busy. On Saturday Brooke, Kate, Logan and I had their first swimming lesson and they both LOVED it. Brooke and Logan were the youngest ones there but were the best behaved kids. They splashed around and even loved to be taken underwater. Shockingly they didn't cry. Hopefully this means that they will both be like little fish someday!

Overnights

Logan stayed at Papa and Grandma's house twice this week! He loves spending the night with them. Thankfully he is feeling better and isn't running a fever anymore. Logan had fun today playing with Brooke and Nicolas at Aunt T's. I have no idea what I would do without our families. They have allowed me not to put Logan in daycare.

Sleepy

Logan had a terrible night last night. He went to bed at about 8:00pm and then at 4:25 this morning he woke up crying. Poor little guy had a temp. of 100.5 so I gave him tylenol and a bottle and he went back to sleep until 8:30. Hopefully today he starts feeling better!

We are going to start our swimming classes this Saturday with Brooke and Kate! We are so excited but I'm sure nobody wants to see me in a swimsuit. I still need to go buy a suit and Logan one too! Hopefully he likes it but I'm sure he will because he LOVES his baths!

Well Logan has his 6 month checkup today!! He weighs 16 lbs 13.5oz (26%) Height: 27.25 (66%), and head 42.8 cm (16%). Dr. Carlson said everything looks good and can't believe he is already 6 months old!! He is sitting up by himself and army crawling everywhere. He also has his 2 bottom teeth! He did have to get his vaccines but luckily tylenol does wonders and he's back to his same cheerful self!
